It does takes courage to make the first step and book an appointment. The first visit includes an in-depth medical history, and it is not uncommon for people to break into tears when describing what ails them. She sees each person as an individual. There are many causes and presentations of pain and disease, and it is her job to ask the questions, listen, and get to the root of the problem. Through listening, the ancient art of pulse taking, hara diagnosis, looking at the tongue and face, the acugraph, and the interpretation of the laboratory work, she looks for the core of each person’s disharmony, and how to unravel it, in order to guide her patients in the healing process back to wellness. Her modalities for healing include Master Tung’s Acupuncture, Kotama principle, Five elements, Balance method, cranial sacral therapy, kiatsu, and Qi gong with stretching.
When she isn’t in the office, she’s out hiking with her horse and dogs and family. She loves swimming, practicing Qi Gong, playing music, and also growing and cooking natural foods.tet
Yours in health,
Nancy Ananda Stevenson L.Ac.
